We think we were the oldest on the flight!

Bang on time, we boarded our BA flight to Cancun with an air of anticipation and a hint of nervousness - had we got absolutely everything?

Having masked up, we were surprised to realise it was no longer mandatory on the plane; however, we chose caution over comfort with 1/20 in England with Covid 19.
Having circulated the plane, following instructions to stretch our legs periodically, Martin realised his hair was the greyest there. It seemed we were the Grandparents of a plane full of 18-30's who soon proved their worth by clearing the plane of all alcohol by hour 8 except for a few miniature bottles of Merlot.

The flight 'flew' by aid by a few choice conversations outside the communal loos, which provided the most luxurious space to chat. Chris, from Cheltenham, was interestingly well-travelled and told us how, on day one of catching Covid, he took 12 tests to ensure the longevity of his time off work. Now, he told us, he insists his staff come into work since he realised how he skived off and doesn't want others to have the same opportunity - now that's leadership for you!

On the flight, we also talked to 'Jemima', a chirpy '30 something' working in the NHS as a Behavioural Therapist. It was interesting to hear her views about Covid (she hasn't and doesn't want the vaccine after doing her own lengthy research) and how much Covid has changed her perspective on work and life.
