Diverted with three weeks' notice

During our trip to Mexico, we learnt our trip to Cuba had been cancelled by the tour operator, quoting Covid 19 reasons. After some debate and limited last-minute options, we decided to take a tour of the Eastern Caribbean by Cruise ship - Celebrity Equinox. We were both disappointed and pleased. We wanted to visit Cuba, but finding a cruise of 12 days at short notice will add seven more countries to our list and inform us - is the Caribbean as good as they say????
